Burgundy and Navy Blue Summer Wedding
Adrienne and Alicia were wed on a beautiful August afternoon down by the Yellow River. We loved the colors of this wedding! Some of the bridesmaids wore beautiful full-length satin gowns in a lovely shade of burgundy. The other group of bridesmaids wore navy blue pants with burgundy suspenders – this pant-suit trend is really becoming popular for the ladies and those heels were to-die-for! They all carried bouquets of white flowers.
Alicia was stunning in a fitted sheath gown with a halter neckline – a very elegant and posh look! She also wore her hair in an up-do with a birdcage veil and carried a bouquet of red, blue, and white flowers. Adrienne wore an amazing burgundy suit coat that had really cool floral textures in the fabric which was finished with a navy blue lapel and bow-tie. I think shoes were an important part of this crew because Adrienne really knocked it out of the park with her velvet burgundy loafers – so cool!
Their ceremony included a sand ceremony in which each of them poured different colors of sand into one container. Alicia poured red sand while Adrienne poured blue, turning a beautiful purple when combined.
After the two finished up a few more photos they entered their beautifully decorated reception. Tables had romantic floating candles as the centerpieces and folded navy blue napkins. We loved the wedding cake which was a unique three-tier piece designed in the shape of elegant pillows. They also had a scrumptious dessert bar with cupcakes, chocolate-covered strawberries, and cookies! This crowd really loved to dance and it was so fun to watch them have a blast! After the reception, everyone gathered out front to send off Adrienne and Alicia with a romantic bubble exit.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
