Laura and Shelton’s October wedding was absolutely picture perfect down by the river. Laura is from New Zealand and the couple met in Taiwan. This wedding had family and guests traveling far and wide to celebrate the couple’s special day!
The bride’s ivory wedding gown featured an intricately designed lace bodice and sheer illusion back. She chose a romantic bouquet of flowers that included soft peach roses, baby’s breath, yellow hypericum berries, and eucalyptus.
To accent the peach, Laura selected cornflower blue. Her blue bridesmaids’ dresses were really unique! We love the halter neckline and how the bridesmaids’ dresses showed just a little leg!
The handsome groom wore a peach tie with a peach pocket square with his gray suit. His groomsmen wore peach bow ties and pulled in both peach and blue in their pocket squares.
Instead of flowers on the altar, Laura hung peach and ivory paper lanterns.
At the reception, each guest’s place setting had favors that were cookies in the shape of a tuxedo and heart.
Her wedding cake was one layer and topped with peach dahlias. We love how the one-tier wedding cake was given extra height by placing it on a cake stand and then placing it on top of a silver cake plateau.
At their gift table, the couple incorporated a tradition in Taiwan where gifts of money are placed in red envelopes for good luck!
Congratulations Laura and Shelton!
