It was an absolutely beautiful September evening for Anastasia and Alex’s wedding down by the river. Having “fun” throughout the wedding was the name of the game for this cute couple and from the photos, you can tell that everyone really enjoyed their special day.
Beginning with Anastasia’s wedding gown, the bride wore a softly flowing A-line gown for her big day. The strapless dress flattered her perfectly with ruching on the bodice and a softly flowing skirt. Her cathedral veil trimmed in lace complemented perfectly her beautiful dress.
Soft peach was her color scheme and her bridesmaids looked simply gorgeous in a peach chiffon one shoulder bridesmaids dress. The mothers’ dresses were just as beautiful. Anastasia’s mother wore a satin gold just above the knee dress while Alex’s Mom beamed in a burgundy full-length dress.
The florals on the altar and in bridal bouquets continued this soft romantic feel with white dahlias and daisies, hydrangeas, baby’s breath, peach roses, and grey dusty miller. The groomsmen sported a soft peach tie that really popped against their handsome black suits.
If you asked what was the best part of this wedding? The answer would be hands down the groom’s cake and favor! The couple are BIG Georgia Bull Dawg fans and also enjoy grilling. So they put 2 and 2 together and came up with a whimsical groom’s cake! It includes a metaphor of UGA devouring the competition with the mascots of Auburn, Florida and Georgia Tech all set on a grill. They also had a table with Jenga pieces for each guest to write something for the couple for them to cherish. This was equally creative and fun!
More fun was in store for guests with His and Her signature cocktails! For her drink, Anastasia chose a Peach Bellini and for his drink, Alex went with a delicious White Russian.
After a night full of dancing and mixing and mingling with guests, the happy couple departed with a send-off of guests holding brightly lit sparklers.
Congratulations Anastasia and Alex!
