Sameen and Matthew chose Earth Day as their special day to marry down at the river. With over 70 acres of forest, Vecoma was the perfect setting for a wedding on this eventful day. The couple had a beautiful color scheme of dusty blue, grey and blush and below are a few things we loved from this wedding.
Because of rain, the wedding ceremony was held on Vecoma’s deck. The altar was beautifully decorated with an arbor covered with lush florals. Guests seated on gold chiavari chairs flanked an aisle covered in white rose petals. Sameen looked gorgeous in an A line lace gown with intricate beading. It featured a scalloped neckline, lace sleeves and train. A memorable moment was when Matthew expressed emotion as Sameen joined him at the altar.
Sameen chose soft gray, ivory, and blush with touches of blue in her florals. The cascading bridal bouquet included blush and ivory english roses, italian ranclus, blue delphinium, and dusty miller. Her bridesmaids bouquets had the exact same flowers except the blush roses found in the bridal bouquet.
Bridesmaids wore long bridesmaids dresses made of flowing chiffon in dusty blue with ruched bodices. The groomsmen wore dark suits with blue ties and pocket squares. Matthew wore a gray suit that complemented the soft gray in the florals. We love the colors of blue, gray and blush!
At the reception, tables were decorated with a mix of high and low floral arrangements. Coffee cups custom printed with the couples name and wedding date were favors. Sameen enjoyed tossing the bouquet on the dance floor.
The evening ended with a sendoff on the deck. Cute paper cones filled with rose petals were given to each guest to toss as the handsome couple made their departure. Congratulations Sameen and Matthew!
