Guerleine and Kingsley had their wedding ceremony down at the river on a warm late afternoon in June. The cool waters of the river and beautiful sunset set the tone perfectly for a romantic outdoor ceremony. This couple started their big day off just right with the closest of family and friends and they chose a beautiful color palette of pink, gold and cobalt blue!
The handsome couple who are both from the islands looked like a match made in heaven! ! You can just tell that they are truly in love ! We can’t get over Kingsley’s dazzling smile and am sure it has something to do with the bride’s radiant beauty.
At the ceremony, the bride walked down the stone path that led to the ceremony altar just steps away from the river. She wore a gorgeous strapless, A line gown with lots of lace and an amazing tiara. Her bridesmaids stood to her left in long pink, one shoulder bridesmaids dresses. Two cute flower girls joined the ladies after dropping soft pink petals on to a long white aisle runner.
Silk Flowers Look So Real
Guerleine used soft pink silk flowers at her ceremony and reception that looked oh, so real! The ceremony arbor is decorated with a long garland full of soft pink silk flowers. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets had silk roses which look very real even though they are silk. We love how brides save costs by using silk versus real flowers in weddings!
Pink and Cobalt Blue
The groom and groomsmen wear soft pink shirts with bright, cobalt blue suits. But our favorite part of the grooms attire are the paisley ties. Kingsley had a paisley bow tie while the groomsmen wore long ties with the same paisley print. Pairing the soft pink with bright blue suits is a great way to mix a favorite color of the bride with a color that men enjoy the most.
Pink, Gold, and White
At the reception, tall silk floral centerpieces featuring tropical looking silk flowers in pink and white were placed on each guest table. Guerleine also paired pink with gold at tables which made a lovely color palette for her wedding reception. Each place setting had a gold charger with a favor in a gold and white box. The color scheme of pink, gold and white looks great in a ballroom that has gold chiavari chairs!
For dessert, guests were treated to a 4 tiered wedding cake decorated with pink silk orchids. Instead of a silver cake plateau, the cake sat on top of cylinder glass vases decorated in gold and filled with pink and white rose petals . But the groom’s cake was the piece de la resistence! It was oreo and was dripping in chocolate. Underneath the grooms cake were 3 gold tiers filled with cupcakes in gold cupcake holders also drizzled in chocolate. Very difficult to resist for sure!
After dancing the night away, guests lined up to say farewell to the newlyweds under a canopy of brightly lit sparklers. Congratulations Guerline and Kingsley!
