Well, sometimes Spring brings those April showers you always hear about. Christine and Tim didn’t let a little rain put a damper on their special day! These two Red Sox fans hosted their ceremony on our wooden deck that overlooks our forest full of fresh Spring blooms and the meandering Yellow River. It was a very intimate setting and so serene with the sounds of the trickling rain in the background. The cool thing about the rain is that it really enhances the colors of the foliage in photographs. Let’s not forget about that fun umbrella shot too!
The attire for the evening was very soft and romantic. Christine wore a gorgeous lace gown with an embellished waist belt and amazing button detail down the back. Did you see that beautiful design in the lace sleeves? Tim wore a sharp navy blue suit with brown leather shoes – a popular color combo for Spring! Christine had one bridesmaid, her dear sister, who also wore a stunning sheath gown in full lace. Also in her entourage were two adorable flower girls wearing flowing tulle gowns with beige bows as accents. She gave each flowergirl a beautiful personalized bracelet to wear – a gift for taking part in their special day.
Also, did I mention they were HUGE Red Sox fans? So much so that they had their string quartet play “Sweet Caroline” – the iconic Red Sox song that they always play before the bottom of the 8th inning. They even put on Red Sox jerseys during their reception to show their devotion to their team! You can see a lot of cute ideas were utilized for their wedding. They had to-go coffee cups with personalized sleeves for their guests to take as a memento- a super cute idea for coffee lovers! They weren’t the only creative ones that day! After a romantic sparkler exit with their guests, Christine and Tim opened the door of their getaway car and were pleasantly surprised! Their friends had filled their car with colorful balloons – what a fun ending to their reception!
