The perfect summer wedding in Georgia? Look no further, Renee and Justin tied the knot on a beautiful July day, taking full advantage of the lovely summer weather. The Vecoma at Yellow River, near Atlanta, was the perfect location for this couple’s closest family and friends to celebrate their love.
With Renee and Justin wanting to keep their summer wedding date through Covid, this outdoor wedding venue was able to easily accommodate their requests! A smaller guest list and socially distanced seating did the trick.
Stunning wedding photos:
The still water of the river glistens as the perfect backdrop for this couple’s forever cherished wedding photos. As they danced together on the river bank, the photographer was able to capture many loving moments of the couple. Justin and his groomsmen had a blast taking photos against the forest scenes, showing their lively personalities. We also have to give an honorable mention to how well the bridal party’s lilac dresses popped against the vivid greenery in their photos! Renee looked absolutely stunning in her strapless, beaded ball gown, highlighted by her bridesmaid’s lilac colored floor-length gowns. Justin and his groomsmen perfectly complemented these dresses by pairing their stylish navy blue suits with mauve colored ties and vests.
Lovely Family Moments:
The couple’s families were very significant in the wedding. Renee’s mother was not only the matron of honor, but also took the responsibility of creating the absolutely gorgeous flower arrangements. An elegant mix of lilac and white flowers decorated the venue, from the arbor to the bridal bouquets. Renee shared a special moment with her mother in law by gifting her a sentimental handkerchief addressed to “my new mom”. The wedding photographer was also able to catch Renee’s father’s “first look” at the bride, a memory they’ll keep forever.
Beautiful Ceremony:
Justin and Renee took part in the traditional “unity candle ceremony “. This beautiful practice is commonly used to represent the coming together of two families. Each family lights their respective candle, followed by the couple joining together to ignite their own candle. The unity candle is a beautiful way for newlyweds to display their love and passion for one another.
Their arbor was absolutely breathtaking with a simple, elegant white cloth draped around it. The white cloth was paired with beautiful flower bouquets that perfectly matched the bridal party’s bouquets and the colors of the wedding.
Lively Reception:
The wedding party moved to the indoor reception venue, decorated with white cloths and dazzling string lights. Their cakes perfectly complemented their personalities. The grooms cake resembled a suit and tie. The bride and groom also brought cupcakes for their guests to enjoy. Renee and Justin added a fun twist to their champagne glasses. One had a brides veil, and the other had a bowtie! The couple and their guests danced the night away!
